Cleaning Supervisor

**About The Role**:
Your main aim as a Cleaning Supervisor will be to supervise a team of cleaning staff, undertaking daily inspections of the site and ensuring staff are working productively and safely.
You will be working Monday to Friday, on a permanent term-time basis, 15:00 to 18:00, 15 hours per week.
**You will also**:
- Work with customer representatives to address any specific requirements or concerns
- To oversee and monitor all cleaning and associated duties carried out by all those that you are responsible for supervising
- You will be expected to manage, train and develop your team. You will perform these duties in a professional manner and strive to exceed customer expectations
To effectively manage and monitor the assigned units within budgetary restraints whilst conforming to the client’s and OCS specification
- Carry out general cleaning duties
- To oversee use and to take responsibility for all, consumables, equipment & machinery used
- Report any defects or defaults of equipment/machinery to line manager
- Control costs to ensure services are delivered within agreed budget Supervise quality control procedures to ensure high standards are maintained
- You will be required to work closely with the Group Health and Safety team who are available to provide safety advice and support. Furthermore you will be required to ensure that safety initiatives are implemented within your areas of control
- Take responsibility for reviewing the safe system of work prior to the commencement of the work activity.
**To succeed in this role you will need**:
- Supervisory experience within the cleaning industry and ;
- Within a healthcare environment desired but not essential as full training will be provided.
- BICS trained and BICS assessor desirable but not essential
