You will work closely with the Responsible Pharmacist and Accuracy Checking Technicians in a small yet highly motivated dispensary team, delivering an efficient, convenient and accessible pharmacy service to meet the needs of our patients.

Your day to day duties will involve:

- Supporting the technical aspects of the dispensary including the receipt and endorsing of prescriptions as well as the labelling, dispensing and assembly of medication.
- Counsel patients on the use of their medication where appropriate, tailoring the conversations to ensure patients are fully informed about their healthcare needs.
- Lead on the stock management and ordering of retail and over the counter (OTC) medicines, using the EPOS till system.
- Support the dispensary team in actively promoting efficient pharmacy operations and services.

Within our pharmacy you will experience a large variety of specialities including paediatrics, chemotherapy and renal care. Full training will be provided on induction. As a trainee, you will be prepared to work towards an NVQ Level 2 qualification to become a qualified Pharmacy Dispenser.

The working hours for the role are Monday - Friday 8:45am - 1:45pm.
