**Key Activities Include**:

- Extremely High Level of service
- Must be able to self manage time, systems and processes
- Be a strong team player, taking on accountability for all tasks within this role
- Keep on top of the daily needs of multiple customer’s to ensure we meet their expectations
- Process shipments on internal systems
- Keeping on top of station KPI’s and personal KPI’s
- Liaise with internal branches UK and oversea’s
- Complete on going reports required both internally and for customer reference
- Be willing, able and have a can do attitude
- Be cost conscious, helping the team operate within budget, ensuring that best market rates are achieved
- Continually monitor logístical procedures to ensure the best delivery solution is applied
- Support all team members within their own role
- Keep a clean and well-presented working environment
- Identify service/delivery improvements and escalate to Manager for consideration/implementation
- Support with ongoing process improvements using First Choice methodology
- Complete all statutory and mandatory training
- Contribute to the First Choice continuous improvement program

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Excel/Word (must have a high level of competence)
- High level of computer skills/speed due to several computer systems/programs
- Commercial awareness essential
- Clear and concise communication skills (written and spoken) essential
- Ability to follow processes
- Ability to support a culture of continuous improvement
- Inter-personal skills - Influencing, communication, relationship management, cultural awareness and ability to work across teams
- Knowledge of Freight Forwarding industry: imports, exports and related processes desirable
- Two or more years’ experience within the Freight Forwarding Industry desirable
- 5 GCSEs including Maths and English at Grade C or above - or equivalent desirable
