**Job Title**: Management Accountant

**Location**: Shrewsbury

**Basic salary**: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum + bonus + good benefits

**Type**: Permanent

A large global company with a UK office based near Shrewsbury (flexi hybrid) is recruiting Management Accountant/ Business Partner on a permanent basis. The role has come about due to company growth with the responsibility being to provide financial reportingand stock control support to the Head of Controlling (Manufacturing) and act as business partner to the manufacturing site lead.

**Responsibilities**:

- Close the books for the site each month and ensure the management accounts accurately report sites income and expenditures
- Manage and maintain the Bill of Materials and other product costing models for products manufactured by the site
- Support commercial teams with new Tenders by providing robust financial updates for product costing
- Ensure adherence to group standard costing methodology
- Ensure accurate recording of materials consumption within the company's financial systems, and ensure the financial systems accurately report site usage, wastage and other variances
- Ensure all other costs incurred and income achieved by the site are properly recorded and reported in the financial systems

**Attributes required**:

- Part / fully Qualified CIMA/ACCA - **essential**:
