We are looking for staff to support day services for the elderly in Oxford, rates of pay are from £11.80 - £12.20 per hour and the shifts are generally between the hours of 8:00-16:00 This is a highly rewarding role supporting the elderly and those with dementia to engage in activities.

The day centers provide activities, companionship, and personalised care from trained staff for people living well with dementia. Staff offer a variety of activities throughout the day, including singing, trivia, crafts, and games.

Care workers to encourage all members to be fully engaged in the activities (singing, crafts, games). Throughout the day it will be necessary to assist members with mobility including, escorting/accompanying to the lunch table, toilet or to the bus, and eating and drinking.

Applicants should be trained and experienced in care work, ideally with experience of caring for elderly clients. We also have more hours available in different services.
