**Purchasing/Buyer - Direct - Manufacturing and Engineering**

**Location**:Hailsham - Eastbourne - Brighton

**Summary**:My client is an organisation in the manufacturing sector focusing on innovation and transformation of engineering solutions, especially in CNC machining, design, welding.

**The role**: The role is to manage supplier relationship and to ensure objective quality standards are agreed accordingly.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible to manage supplier on time delivery
- Managing the cost of supply and making sure the quality defects of supplied products are reduced significantly
- Managing supplier list and supplier management
- To ensure the cost of supply is reduced significantly
- Assisting the manager in the day to day buying activities of the business

**What you need**:

- At least 3 years of experiences in buying/purchasing role in similar industries
- Strong experience dealing with suppliers
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- To be a self starter and able to work autonomously
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong negotiation skills and able to influence others positively
- Experience in Buying role in Manufacturing, Industrial or Engineering field is required
