We are looking for an Estate Management Officer to join the Let Estate Management team based at Altrincham, Cheshire. Working across the Cheshire, Lancashire and West Yorkshire portfolio, you’ll provide technical support for our residential, commercial and agricultural properties. Responsible for maintaining excellent systems and processes, supporting the management of the properties and providing data analysis to support in the efficient running of the estates.

This is a permanent part time 22.5 hrs opportunity offering a salary of £20,536 per annum. We are happy to explore and agree a hybrid working arrangement, which strikes the right balance for you and the Trust.

What it's like to work here:We are the UK’s biggest private landowner, you will support with the management of the properties we own and protect. Working as part of a diverse team of Estate Managers, Rural Surveyors, Building Surveyors, Building Supervisors and Letting Officer, you’ll be involved with a diverse range of historic buildings. The management of our tenancies and assets, together with the relationships we have with our tenants, underpins our national £40m+ annual rental income and is absolutely essential to the delivery of our conservation work.
What you'll be doing:Working closely with the team, supporting the processing of property repairs and wider estate management plans and National trust conservation plans. You will raise purchase orders and support with administration, compliance documentation, marketing, responding to requests for information, credit checks, schedules of conditions, producing GIS plans and drafting basic tenancy documentation. You will be tracking and analysing key performance indicators and reporting findings to the team. Utilising your expert customer service skills, building and maintaining relationships across the portfolios with tenants and colleagues.

- Strong data management and data analytical skills with the ability to develop and maintain data, systems and processes to support the effective management of the property portfolio.
- IT skills. Confident in using MS Office suite, Property Computer systems -Horizon and navigating financial management systems.
- An understanding of the legislation relating to land and property including drafting licences and other legal agreements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
