We currently have an exciting opportunity for a General Operative to join our company and work in the Moulding team based at our Neale Road site in DN2.

**Role**:This role is to ensure that the manufactured products meet the required quality standards and to maintain and facilitate the removal and packaging of the production from the machines.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure production outputs are achieved on time and in full.
- Ensure quality standards are achieved at all times by checking the product for defects
- Ensure product once inspected is placed into packaging with relevant labels a lift taken on the Polybutylene and displayed for gauging
- Ensure all relevant data is captured / collected and entered onto appropriate systems (BARCO, PRODUCTION & IFS9)
- When product is booked onto system and the relevant forms / labels issued the product can be moved to W.I.P./ finished goods yard
- Continuous improvement ideas put forward for implementation
- Ensure a clean and safe working area for yourself and others
- Ensure all waste products are separated into their designated containers
- Ensure all scrap products / sprues are reground in accordance to the SSW and making sure that no cross contamination occurs. Material then to be passed onto Hopper operative

**Hours of work**: This is Monday - Friday work on 3 rotating shifts covering days, nights & afters.

**Rate of pay**:This role is £11.65 per hour (with an additional £2.50 per hour for hours worked between 10:00pm & 6:00am).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.65-£14.15 per hour
