Our Sourcing Team provides support for regional and global projects in our Flexible Pipe Systems business. We engage and collaborate with regional and global sourcing and procurement teams.

This role will support Procurement team contribution to all international clients bid submissions. Working closely with Site ITO leader and the commercial team bid coordinators to ensure the timely and accurate provision of pricing and sourcing strategies to maximize top line growth and margin expansion opportunities.

As a Procurement Specialist you will be responsible for:

- Supporting Cost Handbook maintenance and associated tools to support accurate bids including forecast inflation / deflation aligned to bid validity.
- Supporting ITO leader to deliver the projects and initiatives aiming a smoother BID to Execute transition.
- Joining technical, commercial, and contractual supply requirements reviews with commercial team, managing RFQs/ RFIs.
- Liaising with Bid coordinators, sourcing team and functional stakeholders to ensure all bought out requirements are identified/ priced/ suitably included in bid submission.
- Identifying commercial and supply risks (with mitigation), and opportunities (to be realized) in the bid submission and/or project execution.
- Managing cost out opportunities for OTR phase of project, and ensure actions cascaded with owners and timelines to execute.
- Working closely with specialist and commodity buyers to identify and exploit 3rd party value levers for maximum bid success. e.g. cost, lead time, product innovation.

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have a Bachelors from an accredited university or college in Engineering or Supply Chain
- Have proven experience in Procurement / Sourcing (Direct Material - Machining, Raw Materials - Polymers and Tapes)
- Have a demonstrable technical mindset and approach with attention to detail.
- Have good oral and written communication skills.
- Have the ability to work solo, whilst motivating and influencing others.
- Be able to cope with multiple complex situations daily.
- Be a persuasive negotiator.
