Ecosafe are looking to recruit a full-time experienced Purchasing Officer to join our expanding company. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate an ability to oversee all aspects of procurement including stock management. This will be a new role within the company so we would be looking for someone able to help us implement new systems.

**What will this role entail?**

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for the daily running of the procurement function.

Key duties will include:

- Checking prices paid for materials
- Negotiating with and influencing suppliers
- Identifying areas for improvement to current processes and procedures
- Monitor supplier performance, communicating any issues effectively to enable continuous improvement.
- Conducting regular stock takes and maintaining accurate records

**Key Skills and Experience required to be considered for this vacancy?**
- Proven experience gained in a Purchasing Officers role
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Attention to detail.
- Initiative-taking and flexible work ethic.

Your working hours will be 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday based at our office in Poole.

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
