**We are looking for a Head of Events and Community Fundraising to lead the Events and Community Fundraising Team** (currently 3 staff) and develop a bold new strategy to drive income growth across Mental Health UK and Rethink Mental Illness.
**Our Fundraising Team** is a dynamic team of fundraisers all passionate about raising money for our amazing work in the mental health and mental illness space. We have a diverse portfolio of income streams across Events, Community, Individual Giving, Legacies, In-Memoriam, Trusts and Grants and will also be looking to recruit a Major Gifts fundraiser in the near future.
We work across both Mental Health UK and Rethink Mental Illness enabling us to harness the collective power of both organisations. The Fundraising Team is well integrated within both organisations and sits within the External Affairs Directorate of Rethink Mental Illness to nurture collaboration and maximise opportunities. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to bring the two teams together and to lead with a strategy that compliments both organisations portfolios and marketing plans. This will include reviewing current portfolios and plans, testing new and innovative ideas and evolving current owned events to optimum levels.
