Internal Salesperson

Orchard Timber Products, part of National Timber Group are looking to recruit a permanent Internal Salesperson to join their busy, well-established branch in Forfar.

Orchard Timber Products is an independent timber & specialist product merchant with a credible brand reputation and we pride ourselves in looking after our people in the same way we excel with our customers.

We are growing our Forfar sales team, and currently searching for an additional internal salesperson. We are open to recruiting someone new to sales for this role if you have a fantastic can-do attitude and are willing to learn sales skills and product knowledge. **You will be responsible for**:
Customer Sales:

- Dealing with inbound telephone enquiries
- Serving trade counter customers face to face
- Pro-active telephone calls to existing and new customers
- Ownership of an assigned set of customers for maintenance and development
- Ability to be pro-active in securing new business from existing and new customers
- Pro-active approach to introducing new products to existing and new customers
- Pro-active approach to promoting special offers to existing and new customers
- Ability to increase add-on & alternative product sales

Suppliers:

- Professional approach dealing with suppliers
- Strengthening supplier relationships
- Always looking for new product opportunities
- Working closely with operations team for supply and delivery to your customers

**Working hours, Benefits and Salary**:

- Full time position, Monday to Friday 45 hours per week, Saturday morning working 8.00am to 12.00pm as and when the business requires (approx. 1 in 3 Saturday mornings).
