**We have an exciting opportunity for a StR to work with us at** **University Hospitals Plymouth in the Emergency Department.**
We are looking for a dedicated doctor ready to work in a Trust that puts their patients at the heart of everything they do.
This Role is to start ASAP as an ongoing placement opportunity within an excellent team. You will be responsible for providing exceptional care.
Although this role would be predominantly based in Plymouth University Hospitals Trust there may be the opportunity to work extra shifts across any of our partner Trusts.
**Details about the role**:

- **Days per week**:Monday-Friday
- **Start Date**: ASAP
- **Duration**:Ongoing
- **Pay rate**: £62.50 per hour
- **Payment method: PAYE **we do NOT facilitate payment through LTD/umbrella companies
**General workload includes**:
- Provide immediate and high-quality medical care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of acute medical conditions, injuries, and emergencies.
- Prioritize and manage patients based on the severity of their condition.
- Perform and assist in emergency procedures such as resuscitation, intubation, and central line placements.
- Manage trauma patients and coordinate with other specialties as needed.
- Administer appropriate medications and interventions in emergency situations.

Located in Britain’s Ocean City, University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust is the largest hospital Trust in the South West Peninsula, providing comprehensive secondary and tertiary care to a wider population of almost 2,000,000 people.
