**HR Assistant**
**Coleraine**
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading employer based in Coleraine for a HR Assistant.
This is a period of growth for the organisation due to this they require a HR Assistant to join their HR Team.
The HR Assistant will be responsible for assisting in a variety of HR generalist tasks to support the delivery of an efficient and effective HR service.
The role will be responsible for providing administrative support for the HR function to include the following areas: Recruitment & Selection, Inductions, Training & Development, Payroll, Employee Relations, HR Policies & Processes, HR Systems & Projects
**Your new role as a HR Assistant**
- Record, organise and maintain the administration of HR activities
- Create, maintain and update all relevant employee personal data
- Support the HR team and Monitoring Officer to complete Equality Commission monitoring requirements
- Undertake administrative activities linked to the employee lifecycle (new starts, internal movers and leavers)
- Assist the HR team in coordinating interviews, liaising with recruitment agencies, creation of schedules, preparing interview packs and representing the HR department on interview panels where appropriate.
- Support the HR team in meeting audit standards by maintaining the site's training matrix, ensuring all personnel and training files are complete and up-to-date
- Assist the HR team and line managers to arrange inductions for new starts and deliver HR inductions as required.
- Assist with weekly payroll preparation

**What you will need to succeed as a HR Assistant**
- BA Hons Human Resource Management or equivalent
- At least 1 years' previous experience in a HR environment
- Employment law knowledge either through studies or working experience.
- An organised self-starter
- Excellent communication skills
