Walter Everett is a recruitment agency and we are currently helping our client to hire a number of Senior Hardware Engineers.

You will be helping to test state of the art smart home and consumer electronic equipment

What you'll do:
Responsible for hardware testing and producing test reports
Maintain and develop automation test tools to improve overall test efficiency.
Support the Design and Development teams with product testing and evaluation.
Create and develop test plans and procedures to encompass both existing and upcoming Wi-Fi hardware capabilities and protocols”

What you'll bring:
Background in Electronics
Experience in using

- test and validation methodology and scripts to test EMC, hardware and/or systems/platforms
An understanding of how to sort and present test data to illustrate outcome of testing and recommendations.
Experience in working with developers to design test cases for new products/technology
Experience using testing tools such as Oscilloscopes and RF chambers
Experience in problem solving
Experience in summarising technical information with varying levels of detail, depending on audience
Some experience in managing a test workstack would be desirable
Some experience with Labview and radio standard testing would be desirable
