Production Line Operative

We're currently recruiting Production line operatives to join our dynamic team based at our Cuisine Centre of Operations. We are a leading producer of high-quality food products renowned for their freshness and taste. We're committed to excellence in every aspect of our operations, from sourcing the finest ingredients to delivering exceptional products to our customers including Hospitals, Defence, Maritime, Air and many more
As we continue to expand, we're seeking dedicated individuals to work on our production line, handling food products working in our cold environment facility, where you'll play a crucial role in the production process of our food products. This position involves working on the production line, ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of machinery and processes while adhering to strict quality and safety standards.
**Responsibilities**:
- Operate machinery and equipment on the production line, including but not limited to, conveyors, mixers, and packaging machines.
- Weighing up and placement of the ingredients keeping up with the line speeds
- Perform regular quality checks on products to identify and address any issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the production area and equipment according to company protocols and food safety regulations.
- Always follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Communicate any equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Participate in training sessions and meetings as required to stay updated on company policies, procedures, and best practices.
Requirements from you to undertake this role:
- Previous experience working in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
- Ability to work in a cold environment for extended periods (PPE Provided)
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to strict procedures and guidelines.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read and interpret documents such as menu cards and guidelines, safety rules, operating procedures, and production schedules.
