Machine Operator

We're currently recruiting Machine Operators to join our dynamic team based at our Cuisine Centre of Operations. We are a leading producer of high-quality food products renowned for their freshness and taste. We're committed to excellence in every aspect of our operations, from sourcing the finest ingredients to delivering exceptional products to our customers including Hospitals, Defence, Maritime, Air and many more
As we continue to expand our operations, we're seeking skilled Machine Operators to join our production team, handling food products working in our cold environment facility. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring various machinery and equipment essential to our production process. If you have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a passion for ensuring product quality, we want to hear from you
**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for the running of the PA tray sealing machines
- Operate and monitor machinery and equipment on the production line, including but not limited to, mixers, fillers, sealers, and packaging machines.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot machinery malfunctions and perform minor repairs as needed.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the production area and equipment according to company protocols and food safety regulations.
- Communicate any equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Complete production documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
Requirements from you to undertake this role:
- Previous experience working in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
- Working closely with the Line services and QA.
- Multi skilled abilities, to be trained up to carry out Line Service & Machine Op roles.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating procedures, and production schedules.
- Methodical thinker, basic fault finding, work under pressure
- Ability to work in a cold environment for extended periods (PPE Provided)
