**Job overview**:
Cornwall Council families together and Cornwall Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services for children and young people is changing, for the better. We have developed a multiagency rapid response service (MARRS) that will deliver urgent care across services for children and young people who experience mental health and social care crisis across Cornwall. We aim to build an integrated pathway that offers support and treatment for families in a joined-up way.

We have been working with families and staff to develop a new service that puts the young person and their family at the center of what we do. We will provide a seamless, integrated, and holistic approach to crisis care, supporting families to bring positive change

We are an integrated, multi-disciplinary CAMHS team, who focus on ensuring children and young people, and their families, get the right help at the right time. Our Medical Secretary will be providing secretarial support for the consultant, medical team and wider MARRS team.

**Main duties of the job**:
We are looking for a medical secretary to join our team in the newly formed Multi-Agency Rapid Response Service.

This post is available on a full time or part time basis (minimum of 30 hours per week). We would consider flexible working hours. The post holder will be based at the Sowenna Unit at Bodmin Hospital alongside the Consultant, and will also be expected to work from our new office in Victoria Offices, Roche for part of their week.

You will provide a comprehensive administration service within the Multi-Agency Rapid Response Service. Providing secretarial support to the consultant, medical team and the wider team in an efficient and timely manner. You will work closely with the Team Administrator and there is an element of cross coverage with the Sowenna Unit medical secretary and their Consultant.

You will be an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who is well organised and has excellent communication skills. You will be flexible and used to working under pressure and to tight deadlines. The successful applicant will be proficient in Microsoft Word, audio typing and diary management. You will be an effective team player with a flexible approach who can plan and organise their workload, prioritising as required.

The team will operate county wide and will be integrated with CAMH
