We are seeking to appoint a passionate and ambitious Events Coordinator who is a team player

**This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Conference & Events Coordinator looking for a challenging role**

The **Conference &** **Events Co-ordinator** will work closely with the Sales Office Manager, focusing on all events from conferences,social and wedding enquiries, from conversion through to seamless transition to operations for event execution, delivering a polite professional and efficient service to our established and new clients.
- The Coordinator provides excellent customer service through every element of the event or group enquiry, utilizing strong partnership and selling skills.
- Prepares all event documentation and coordinates with all relevant hotel departments and the customer to ensure consistent, high level service through pre-event, during event and post event.
- Actively engages in Meet and Greet of all key events.
- Recognizes opportunities to maximize revenue, conversion and drive repeat business
- Dealing with any customer feedback and providing a prompt and effective response
- You will be required to work weekends and evenings as needed by business, due to the nature of the social segment.

The Person:

- Excellent organisational and time management skills with an eye for detail and the ability to use own initiative
- Ability to work under pressure maintaining a positive can do attitude
- Highly motivated with a drive to succeed and be the best
- Communication skills with the ability to build strong and effective working relationships with key stakeholders in the business and build a strong rapport with guests
- Excellent decision making and influencing skills
