***About the role**

**Please note the Warehouse Section Manager role within Ocado involves managing the warehouse operatives and the day to day running of a single department within the warehouse and not multiple sites across a region.**

***About you**

You will also ensure KPIs are a vital focus across your site, including labour turnover, absence rates and engagement scores.

You will continuously encourage self-improvement, training and development of your teams to support succession planning and aim to drive and develop initiatives that encourage site-wide engagement and enhance morale.

Strong verbal and written communication and numeracy skills are a must and a passion for dealing with people and a focus to achieve employee satisfaction.

Knowledge of food safety standards and compliance are preferred and previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment are essential.
