A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Receptionist/Typist within a well-established and highly regarded law firm. Previous experience of working as a Legal Receptionist/Typist is essential for this role.
Applicant should have the ability to deliver a friendly, efficient customer service and to provide a warm welcome to all clients of the firm.
**Key tasks of the role as Legal Receptionist/Typist**:
Meeting and greeting clients
Keeping the reception area tidy
Answer telephone, screen and direct calls
Take and relay messages
Ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out of the office
Provide refreshments for meetings
Typing / Admin support for the Private Client department.
**Other duties include**:
Receive and sort mail and deliveries
Collect and distribute Document Exchange mail.
Deliver Document Exchange mail to the DX office.
Prepare post for dispatch.
Take special deliveries to the Post Office.
Ensure funds are topped up on the franking machine.
Order and administer office stationery.
Opening of files on computer system and paper based files.
Keeping stocks of office sundries (tea, coffee, milk etc).
