The company's marketing & operations function is growing to support the business growth plans and the Head of Marketing is building a high performing marketing organisation. They have already appointed amazing talent in Demand Generation Marketing, ProductMarketing, Product, Design, Brand and Comms. This is the next piece in the puzzle

As Marketing Operations Manager, you will focus on the strategy, implementation and operational efficiency of the company's marketing output. It will be your responsibility to improve lead management processes, marketing data, marketing automation and softwaretools, tracking performance, and reporting to the board.

You will work closely with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Brand Comms, and Sales. These functions will gain from your experience of improving marketing and sales efficiency, setting up and leading Mar-tech developments (Pardot and Salesforce ideally),lead scoring, and being a point of best practice for the business.

They are looking for someone that has experience of working in an agile environment, and has accelerated scalability, predictability and efficiency of marketing operations. You must have a passion for data, metrics and reporting.

Key responsibilities of the Marketing Operations:

- Review of current data, information and historical trends to help provide insights into best practices and improvements of data quality
- Implement and critical ongoing improvement of marketing systems such as Pardot and Salesforce, and leading the integration with the sales department
- Enhancement of all marketing operations to facilitate full end to end customer lifecycle management - lead generation, nurturing, and customer retention and advocacy
- Optimise conversions online - website traffic, landing pages, lead content generation, and calls-to-action
- Improve customer experience strategy, building our customer feedback systems and data insights
- Manage all marketing operations with the focus on enabling efficient lead scoring, campaign tracking, lead management, database health, targeting, segmentation strategies, and alignment with sales initiatives
- Manage and pull key marketing metrics, inputting these measurements into reports that measure the performance of the marketing team as a whole
- Report day-to-day campaign activities, marketing investments, marketing initiatives, program ROI, customer acquisition, customer retention, and activity
- Prepare and present key marketing KPI insights and data on relevant marketing operations to the senior marketing management and executive marketing personnel
- Work closely with the sales department as well as the finance department to ensure optimal exploitation of the marketing budget in achieving targeted sales and revenue outcomes

Essential requirements for this role Marketing Operations Manager:

- 5+ years of experience with B2B digital marketing in technology, with a focus on demand generation and marketing automation
- Experience in a B2B business through marketing operational excellence
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data, identify trends, analyse program effectiveness and ROI
- Strong salesforce and Pardot experience is a necessity
- Experience creating reports/dashboards/sales pipelines.
- Adept at juggling multiple projects at once, working cross-functionally, while never losing sight of the core message and goal behind your work
- Excellent communication and persuasive skills
- Worked in an agile environment
- Professional, enthusiastic and fun
- Friendly, approachable and helpful
- Proactive and able to work on own initiative
