**Job Title Returns & Inventory Assistant**

**Employment Permanent 40 hours (unpaid 30-minute lunch)**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Health and Safety of yourself and others. To carry out all activities in a manner that promotes safety to yourself and your colleagues.
- Support to ensuring products are packed safely and securely, so as not to be damaged in transit.
- Accurately checking, inspect goods for damage prior to being added back into stock.
- Accurate and timely booking back to system of all returned order lines once inspected.
- Logging, tracking, and ensuring claims are lodged and credits received. Investigating claims and updating systems with notes for audit trail.
- Working with Warehouse, CS and finance to ensure the end-to-end returns processing is completed.
- Completing all agreed KPI’s daily / weekly as required.
- Operating MHE as trained and certified.
- Highlighting issues and trends by depot, carrier and SKU type.
- Participate actively in continuous process improvement projects, seek ways to develop and maximise customer service levels.
- Ensure all business and individual key performance indicators are met
- Contribute actively to achieving departmental service level and targets
- Lifting, moving, protecting, wrapping, and managing all products with all due care and attention.
- Potential risks, problems, or product defects are reported immediately to your manager
- Using all equipment respectfully, safely, and as trained including computers & the WMS.

**Other supporting Warehouse tasks**:

- Loading and unloading vans and artic vehicles safely, accurately, and securely.
- Accurately picking to fulfil and despatch all orders OTIF, within specified time frames

**Performance Standards**:

- Always show dignity and respect with customers, colleagues, drivers, and visitors.
- Speed, accuracy, reliability, and honesty.
- Daily KPI and claims log / refund sheets to be completed
- Handle all stock with care to avoid any possible damages.
- Receipt orders accurately and securely in line with Leader’s SOP’s.
- Check, count and accurately manage all stock.

**Key Competencies**:
Safety, numeracy, accuracy, speed, diligence, reliability, team player, pro-active “can-do” attitude, adhere to procedures, flexibility, honesty, hardworking, working to deadlines. Experienced FLT and MHE operator. System trained to receipt / move stock. Claims owner and end to end owner of returns to ensure timely credits and stock receipt.

**Salary**: From £22,880.00 per year
