Construction and Integration Manager

**What you’ll be doing**:
- Managing the team and setting clear KPIs to achieve successful and seamless construction and integration of assets throughout the whole project lifecycle
- Safeguard any site, process, regulatory and statutory requirements and ensure changes required to operate the new plant as BAU are effectively managed whilst maximising benefits to Thames Water
- Oversee supplier performance to ensure they are delivering the required assets to the time, quality and cost expected, whilst maintaining excellent customer focus
- Be the main point of escalation and owner of accountabilities within the stage gate process
- Set the strategic vision for the construction assurance and asset integration teams, ensuring they maintain a consistent approach across all delivery offices and continuous improvement is at the fore
- Enable the teams to set and adhere to best practices for their roles, ensuring both their own internal and the overall stage gate processes are cohesive, complementary, and adhered to creating an environment where ways of working can be constructively challenged
- Maintain excellent stakeholder engagement and ensure the operating model is optimal throughout the AMP
- Work with suppliers to ensure delivery partner teams and structures complement our own to ensure efficient implementation of the intelligent client model through construction and integration
- Direct resource planning to ensure projects have the best balance of the correct resource at the correct time
- Focus on and continue to develop the function for AMP8 and beyond
**We’re looking for you to**:
- Be a **Chartered Engineer** or have substantial experience in a similar role
- Have a **NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate**:
- Have considerable experience in a people management role
- Understand the processes and construction practices used in Water / Waste Water / Networks
- Understand the development of design, construction and operation of infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects
- Have experience in performance and quality management
- Have considerable experience in the commissioning and take over practices in the water / wastewater industries
- Be able to demonstrate experience as a problem solver on both wastewater and potable water.
- Be experienced working in multi-stakeholder environments with excellent customer service skills
