Legal Secretary

Tru Recruitment are delighted to be working with a local Legal company to recruit an experienced Legal Secretary. This is a great opportunity to really be involved and use your skill set to its full potential.
The role is a full Secretaria role where you will be working very closely with the Senior Partner in all aspects of the Legal process regarding property.
Some of your dutes as a Legal Secretary will include:
- Dictation and other work on matters as required
- Preparation of forms and documents
- Submission of Stamp Duty Returns
- Deal with queries from clients/colleagues/partners/agents/other outside organisations
- Attendance with clients
- Preparation of completion statements
- Exchange of Contracts (if required/requested to do so)
- Assist fee earner in dealing with completions of sales, purchases, re-mortgages, transfers
- Generate requests for payments out and raise slips for monies received as required
- Retain any files for which a retention is being held and follow up
To be successful you will need to demonstrate:
- Fast accurate typing/audio typing
- Previous experience in a similar environment
- Great communication
- Organised
- Able to contribute to the team
