**Role Responsibility**:
Reporting directly to the Plant Trainer, the **Plant Operative** will ensure works activities are carried out effectively to the agreed programme and specification and undertake operations to ensure works are completed to the highest standard.
On a day to day basis, the responsibilities of the **Plant Operative** will include the following (not exhaustive):
- Complying with the Company H&S roles & responsibilities & legislative requirements
- Understanding the controls identified to safely manage the risks associated with the construction activities
- Taking care of own H&S and that of others who might be affected by actions
- Completing and maintaining pre-use checks and equipment inspections as relevant to the role
- Ensuring timesheets are populated with accurate information; acknowledged and authorised by the Site Management Team
- Carrying out routine maintenance on plant in line with business and manufacturers recommendations
- Prior experience in machine control
- Strong communication skills
- Drive and motivation
- Strong team player
