**Job Purpose**:
In this varied and exciting role, the Marketing Executive will own the implementation of key marketing activities for raising strategic brand awareness and enabling business development across multiple trading divisions.

Compiling detailed briefs, you will provide marketing direction to the Creative Designer and as a competent user of the Adobe Suite occasionally you will support in the design production of artwork.

Combining creative flair with commercial acumen, the Marketing Executive will be a confident and positive self-starter who can demonstrate excellent communication skills and a passion for best-in-class marketing.

**Skills & Knowledge**:

- CIM and/or IDM training desirable, but not essential.
- Working knowledge of the Adobe Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
- Practical experience of working in a marketing role.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Propose marketing activities based on the requirements of customers and key stakeholders.
- Deliver customer and market insight, including online surveys, focus groups, meetings, news scanning and desk research.
- Regularly review and benchmark competitor offerings.
- Undertake customer data analysis and reporting, providing recommendations for marketing activities.
- Prepare detailed design briefs which will be effectively delivered in collaboration with the Creative Designer.
- Occasionally support the Creative Designer with the production of design work, photography, and other visual imagery.
- Write engaging, customer-focused copy.
- Produce press releases for publications and online channels.
- Manage campaign delivery to agreed timescales and budgets, providing stakeholders with progress updates at appropriate times.
- Proof-reading of all work to ensure that accuracy and high quality is maintained.
- Adhere to and develop the company’s brand identity, ensuring all deliverables consistently follow current brand guidelines.
- Brief the sales and customer service teams prior to campaign go-live.
- Segment the customer database to determine audiences for highly targeted marketing campaigns.
- Manage the accuracy, integrity and enrichment of customer data in the CRM system.
- Liaise and negotiate with external providers including printers, mailing houses, packaging companies, promotional merchandise companies, event organisers and publishers.
- Plan, co-ordinate and manage our attendance at conferences, exhibitions and meetings.
- Support the creation and delivery of our own-run events.
- Produce storyboards and direction for in-house video production.
- Analyse and report the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
- Ensure that marketing work is regularly showcased and communicated to internal stakeholders.
- Support the Category Management and e-Commerce teams with the generation of A+ product content and merchandising.
- Screen and qualify general queries of the marketing function.
- Managing the marketing communications calendar and job production schedule.
- Provide valued input into the formulation and development of the marketing strategy.
- Positively challenge existing systems and propose new procedures for efficient and effective production.
- Support the business with marketing work as and when required.
