Portsmouth Business School has a track record of sustained excellence in teaching and research as evidenced by the consistently very high student satisfaction scores in the National Student Survey, the excellent employability record of our graduates, and the results of the Research Excellence Framework (REF2021) submission.

The breadth and depth of our research was viewed by the REF2021 panel as having an outstanding and very significant impact in economic, social and policy-making terms. 65.8% of our research outputs were judged to be internationally excellent or world-leading; 100% of our impact was rated as having very considerable or outstanding reach and significance and 100% of our research environment was judged as having the vitality and sustainability to produce internationally excellent or world-leading research.

The Business School offers a full range of degree programmes including an MSc in Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship, BA (Hons) in Entrepreneurship and Business, and PhD and Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) programmes. We combine excellence in research and scholarship with considerable business and consultancy experience, with a number of KTP initiatives as well as our Female Entrepreneurship Network, EU funded Accelerating Women’s Enterprise workshops and Entrepreneurs in Residence programme.
