Impact Technical Services Ltd are a technical engineering company who carry out the service and maintenance of air technology used to move waste in a variety of sectors within the UK and overseas.

We also provide other specific services such as LEV testing, fan balancing, spare parts, etc.

We are looking for someone to assist the Works Co-ordinator, based in our modern head office in Leicester. The wide and varied role will involve numerous administration tasks including:

- High level checking and correcting of technical reports for spelling, layout, grammar, etc. (non technical)
- Updating & maintaining databases as required, such as PPM and average hours
- Completion of pre-qualification and sub-contractor questionnaires
- Maintaining the training database and arranging training
- Keying in invoices on work in progress
- Line drawings using AutoCAD (or similar) - training will be provided
- Administration of company memberships
- Supporting Operations Manager & Works Coordinator with other tasks, as required

A large proportion of the role will be taken up checking reports and so you must have effective communication skills and be able to read and write clear and concise technical English, including the ability to correct spellings and grammar. You must be able to multi-task and you must have attention to detail.

You must be able to work as part of a team but also use your initiative to complete tasks alone. You must have excellent organisational skills and computer literacy (including experience of using databases).

You must have excellent customer relation skills and a professional telephone manner.

You must be capable of effective problem solving and prioritisation skills and work in an environment which requires the prompt completion of tasks.

Some appreciation of engineering terms would be advantageous as you may be dealing with calls from customers and the supply of spare parts.

Although experience in the tasks mentioned above would be beneficial, on the job training will be provided.

You must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

Working hours would ideally be 8am-5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am-4pm on Friday but some flexibility can be discussed.
