Our work environment includes:

- On-the-job training

To ensure the security of Marsden Packaging Limited property, buildings and plant and in doing so cover the security of all customers' products and materials stored in these buildings from theft and / or contamination by persons within the company as far as is humanly possible with the means the Security Officers have at their disposal.

**Duties**
- Secure and unlock premises (dependant upon shift) in line with Marsden Packaging site security policy
- Unlock and check all fire exits and document findings on the relevant form
- Be visible & observant at all times, greeting staff & visitors to the site in a courteous manner
- Patrol the perimeter of the site on a daily basis, ensuring personnel, assets, buildings, gates and fence perimeter are secure in all weathers
- Monitor and control access to site by all personnel, contractors and visitors
- Record the registration of all vehicles entering the site (inclusive of Marsden Packaging Limited staff/personnel), name of person, company name, name of person they are visiting, reason for visit, arrival and departure time
- Ensure all contractors and visitors read House Rules and complete Site Health Declaration form before entering any production/warehouse areas
- Liaise with office and warehouse staff as required regarding visitors, goods vehicles etc.
- Respond to emergencies ie; out of office alarm, as and when required

**Ability to Deputise for**: Other Security Officer

**Cover in event of absence**: Other Security Officer

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract
Part-time hours: 36 per week
