Harry* is 25 years old, enjoying his independence in his own home in Wigan. He is kind and funny, and loves being around people, bantering and sharing a joke. His aspirations include work experience and perhaps going to college. He is extremely keen on acting and the theatre, especially musicals. He's also a big rugby fan.

Harry has a diagnosis of Autism and behavioural issues including self-harm, which can mean a trip to the hospital. He needs Support Workers who can be creative in helping to keep him occupied: for example he enjoys going for long drives, and keeping in close touch with his family.

You'll join our team as a Part-time Support Worker doing 20-25 hours a week. Various hours available. You'll take your turn on a rota covering shifts across days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

A lot of the fun happens on the move, **so you must be a driver with a manual licence in order to drive Harry's mobility vehicle**. Your ability to drive unlocks the opportunities for them to do the things they really enjoy.

At Macintyre we fully support your training and development. We know it can be daunting to start a new job, and not everyone learns the same way, so throughout your probation we will provide you with a mixture of eLearning, face-to-face training and mentoring support whilst on the job.
