**Quality Engineer**

**Job Summary**
The main purpose of this job is

Main Duties
- Responsible for all Quality related activity regarding Billet and Bar products
- Customer Audits associated with the product line
- NADCAP Heat Treatment - All Production Areas (facilitation and get involvement from people in functional areas).
- Implement improvements to controls and maintain compliance.
- Specification review associated with customer requirements
- Writing and Review of procedures.
- Establish effective processes that ensure compliance
- PSR / 8D / CEDAC / Corrective & Preventive actions / Error proofing
- NPI and all associated quality activity
- Zero defect initiative - raw material: PPAP, FMEA Control plans
- Internal audits, process audits
- Customer complaints resolution
- Data driven continuous improvement
- Support for in-process and final Inspection
- Supplier selection, approval & monitoring
- Management of change & Risk Assessments
- Responsibility for quality record archiving
- Customer liaison including presentations
- Aerospace Customer annual performance review
- Responsibility for process equipment approval & metrology

Product identification & quality awareness training

Experience of:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, and Power Point at a minimum) required to accomplish day-to-day work activities and willingness to learn additional programs.
- Company, products, objectives and operations.
- Quality systems and technical specifications
- Successfully balancing multiple projects at various stages with limited supervision in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
- Working independently as well as with and through others to achieved desired results.
- Ability to analyse and resolve difficult problems effectively and timely through the implementation of long-term solutions.
- Ability to foster collaborations, inspire confidence, and motivate individuals across diverse teams in a manufacturing environment in order to meet objectives.
