Are you a generalist HR Manager looking for your next opportunity?

Transparent is proud to support this reputable business that sits within the leisure sector, in the recruitment of this key position.

Overseeing a small team of 2, you will be a confident and highly credible HR Manager with the ability to influence at every level of the business. A proactive problem solver, you will be used to managing a small team and enjoy working autonomously.

You will also be highly numerate and have experience of using HR data and statistics to produce regular management reports.

Duties to include:

- Reviewing and implementing HR strategies, policies and procedures in line with employment law, and supporting the overall business strategy
- Advising managers on a wide range of HR topics to include employee relations, performance management, absence management, etc.
- Overseeing performance reviews
- Managing remuneration and benefits
- Managing new starters and inductions
- Overseeing the current HR system and future involvement in new system implementation
- Overseeing payroll (currently outsourced)
- Compliance and employment legislation
- Disciplinary and grievance procedures
- Learning and development
- Being the 'go to’ leader with an open-door policy

The Person:

- Previous HR experience at a mid to senior level, minimum 5 years
- CIPD qualified, or qualified by experience
- Proven ability to review and improve processes
- Detailed knowledge of UK employment law
- Able to offer a confidential and approachable manner with sensitive information
