We support young people and adults with a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder, severe and complex learning difficulties, global development delay and associated challenging behaviours to lead a rich and fulfilling life. We also support children and adults with complex health needs. We have been established 9 years, as we continue to grow and evolve, we are looking for caring and supportive Support Workers to join our team.

You will be key in supporting our clients with complex needs, enjoying a fulfilling, and rewarding role, spending your working life helping those who by many measures are most in need of help. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed person who has a genuine passion for supporting our young adults to fulfil their full potential. Promoting and providing person centred care, at all times, always focusing on support and care on the needs of individual. Ensuring that people's preferences, choices, wishes needs and decisions are made with their total involvement. Providing care and support that is respectful of and responsive to them.
You will ensure all health and wellbeing outcomes are co-produced by the people you support, families and members of the workforce working in partnership and ensuring they are listened to and treated with respect and empathy.

At Serenity with our support, people have the opportunity to enjoy the things in everyday life we take for granted. To become part of the community and enjoy activities, as well as maintain independence and a better quality of life in their own home and enjoy a more fulfilling life. More so often, complex behaviours make it difficult for them to do these things. This is where you come in.
Team working and consistency is essential. This role requires someone who is willing to work flexibly to meet the individual’s needs, supporting them to achieve the best outcomes possible. You will also be providing a positive role model for behaviour and support to a wider team. You will work with and witness colleagues that have devoted their working life to ensure the safety and well-being of some of the most vulnerable members of our society. What could be more rewarding than making that essential difference? You will be amazed at the dedication of your team and be proud to be a part of something important.
