The Lifeway's Group and is one of the UK’s leading providers of support services for people with diverse and often complex needs and we are looking for Full Time & Bank Support Workers for our Supported Living Service in Great Gonerby near Grantham in Lincolnshire.
Based in Great Gonerby we provide supported living for our service users who have Autism, learning disabilities and complex needs.
We have 6 individual flats within the site of Wheelwright Square - with a staff annex in the middle.
A full driving licence is preferred but is not essential - due to the remote location of this service and because you may be required to drive company vehicles in order to escort our Service users to various activities within the community.
You will need to be flexible as shift work is required to include evenings, weekends and nights. Shift patterns will consist of early and late shifts with sleep ins and waking nights and will include weekend working.
Earlies - 7.30 till 2.30pm and lates - 2.30pm till 9.30pm - one sleep in per week.

Our Service Users are at the heart of everything we do at Lifeway's. Your job as a Support Worker for individuals with Learning Disabilities is to ensure our Service Users lead valued and fulfilling lives, helping them to reach their potential and achieve to the best of their ability.
Being a Support Worker for individuals with Learning Disabilities with us means you may be helping our service users by supporting them to go to work, do personal tasks, do household jobs or enjoy their favourite hobby, through to more exciting tasks such as moving into their own home for the first time or planning a holiday.
Your role will be varied and no two days will be the same. Whether you’re new to supporting people or have years of experience, you will get the training and support you need to do your job really well, through our learning and development programme.
No experience is necessary, as we are looking for people with the right values and attitude.
You will work together with people’s family, friends and the professionals who get involved in their lives.
Together you will support the person to enable them to live independently and achieve their ambitions.
Lifeway's offer career development, local work, induction training, regular refresher training, supervision and employee recognition. Previous experience is an advantage but is not essential as training is provided.

All new Support Workers will complete a comprehensive paid induction consisting of Classroom and service specific learning, e-learning and shadow shifts to ensure you are fully trained and supported before commencing at any service.
Following the successful completion of your probationary period, you will be awarded with the Care Certificate.
**Annual Leave** 20 days per annum plus 8 Public Holidays pro rata. After 5 years continuous service we will reward you by automatically increasing this to 25 days plus 8 Public Holidays.
**Pension** Upon commencement you will be automatically enrolled into our NEST pension plan which includes an employer contribution
