Venn Group are currently working on a position with one of our highly-regarded healthcare organisations, based in Hertfordshire, to source a Resource Planner for the following assignment:
**Resource Planner**

**Recruitment Agency Reference: J65043**

Location: Hertfordshire (mostly remote working)

Contract: 6 months

Hours: 37.5 per week

**Your duties will include**:

- Proactively ensuring that the rota is resourced and moving resources appropriately
- Liaise with line managers regarding the authorisation of annual leave and recording of sickness
- Set up new employees on Rota Master
- Working closely with the Service Manager and highlight any gaps or concerns and highlight vacancies
- Ensuring short term absences are filled or addressed accordingly and flag to relevant managers
- Using software tools as a resource tool effectively and accurately
- Liaising with payroll regarding any payroll issues including cancelled shifts, absence, sickness etc.
- Maintaining master rotas for each workgroup
- Preparing the commissioner conference calls regarding rota fill
- Proactively ensuring rotas are resourced to maximum potential, ensuring the right resources are allocated to the right place at the right time
- Education to GCSE level with Maths and English as a minimum
- Previous experience of resource planning and allocation
- Previous experience in an administration role
- Experience of liaison with third party suppliers
- Strong people skills
- Ability to influence and negotiate to achieved desired outcome
- High levels of accuracy and excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills that will include a variety of methods
- Excellent organisational and administration skills.
- Able to respond to changing priorities
- Diplomacy and high levels of discretion
- Strong IT skills
