We are seeking to recruit an apprentice in an administration role to develop within our organisation.

You will be employed on a 21 month fixed term training contract and work 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday. In return you will receive 27 days leave, plus bank holidays and an annual salary of £9,412. You will have access to the NHS pension scheme and will be supported to achieve your L3 in Business Administration. Eight out of 10 individuals who complete their award go on to secure permanent employment and NHS salaries attract a starting salary of £20,270.

The apprenticeship scheme is run in partnership with Prostart and is delivered in the workplace. You will attend a planned induction and additional training events and given time to complete your studies. You will be based at home during the duration of your apprenticeship, with remote supervision.

The role will involve a range of office duties to ensure the smooth running of the Skills Development Network (SDN). Your role will maintain a high standard of professionalism and provide services in line with our values and behaviours. We are looking for someone who is punctual, reliable, and smart in appearance and will work in a professional manner.

2. Assist with the admin in respect of all SDN programmes which will include booking venues, liaising with facilitators and delegates, preparing events for booking onto the website and requesting feedback.
3. Under supervision arrange meetings, book venues, prepare agenda/attendance lists, take minutes and type up and distribute with agreed timelines.
4. Under supervision, assist with updating social platforms ie Twitter and LinkedIn with relevant content.
5. Assist in the tasks and duties of other staff within the team during periods of staff leave/absence to ensure that an effective quality service is maintained at all times and contributing to the work of the team
6. To undertake an annual appraisal to identify any necessary personal development required to meet the objectives of the Team, and to further develop the post-holders’ skills and role.
7. The post-holder will be required to undertake essential training as and when required.
8. Cover other admin duties within the team as necessary.
