To deal with all patient queries and concerns. To answer telephone queries and concerns (these may be of a sensitive nature) To register new patients and make new patient appointments both NHS and Private, using logging procedures on Meditech and Choose and Book as required, sending out relevant patient letters. To make follow up appointments as required. To liaise with consultants/nurses with regards to patient queries.

To issue patient information leaflets as required. To assist with general administrative duties e.g. dealing with mail, photocopying and filing. To provide an efficient admin service for the registration and treatment of satellite patients.

To invoice private patients for consultation, screening, treatment, and drug top ups, taking payment in person or by telephone, via cash, debit/credit card, bank transfer and recording all payments on IDEAS. o comply with all departmental standard operating procedures as appropriate. To provide absence cover within the admin team, including reception duties as required. To identify and raise any issues to the Admin Team Leader.
