**About this role**

This role leads a team at the heart of the TV & Broadband transformation to improved ways of working and delivering value to our customers. It is part of the TV & Broadband Service Engineering leadership team. It contributes to a broader community driving change and improvement across our domain. In this role, you will servant-lead our Product Ownership and Coaching team, underpinning our culture of learning and improvement.

The Product Owners help our teams focus on doing the things that deliver the most value. Coaches help improve how we provide value optimally. The Product Ownership & Coaching Team Lead will Lead the TV & Broadband Product Ownership & Coaching team, collaborating closely with other teams responsible for different skillsets or delivery of business outcomes.

You will be responsible for building and supporting a broader community of similar roles across our organisation, providing a focal point for Product Ownership and Coaching in TV & Broadband. You will be based in any of our Ipswich, Belfast or London Offices with an opportunity for a hybrid working model. Please note that business needs may drive occasional travel requirements.

**You'll have the following responsibilities**
- People leadership & performance - with direct responsibility for a diverse team of Coaches and Product Owners and (with your team) influencing others using similar skillsets across our org, you’ll create an environment where PO and Coaching careers thrive, supporting personal development, and coaching your team to help deliver value aligned to BT’s strategy.
- Business outcomes - close collaboration and support for the achievement of business outcomes and optimising our approaches to achieving these.
- Product Ownership and Coaching as a product - use a product-led approach to shape your team, focusing on value, and supporting others.
- Transformational approach - supporting and driving changes in our ways of working at a macro-, team-, and individual level to align with strategic direction to focus on the flow of value to end customers.
- Advocate & Evangelise - Represent the PO & Coaching the community into the Service of Engineering leadership team, and more broadly across TV & Broadband (and beyond).
- Demonstrable thought-leadership in a relevant field such as blogs, community-building, meetup facilitator, and conference speaking.
- Enterprise-level experience of agility, product ownership and/or coaching.

**You'll have the following skills & experience**

**Essential skills & experience**
- Product Ownership and/or Agile Coaching leadership experience
- Storytelling with data - skilled in building the case for change using data and analytical techniques and communicating this effectively to senior audiences
- People Development - supporting a medium-sized team to develop and fulfil their potential, and to maximise their contribution to business outcomes.
- Hands-on experience and awareness of multiple agile methods and tailoring these to the needs of individual teams and people.
- Track record of successful delivery of product ownership and/or coaching capabilities into an agile and/or DevOps environment.
- An ‘always learning’ approach and openness to challenging your own and others’ perspectives to drive improvement.

**Nice to have skills & experience**
- Business acumen: knowledgeable in business strategy and the drivers of organisational performance, including people drivers of performance and financial literacy (e.g., business KPIs, business cases).
- Experience facilitating various delivery methodologies at scale to enable efficient delivery of value in a technical multi-team environment.
