Location: Based at Alderley with travel to Strathpine required
Remuneration: $32.21 + 11% Super + NFP salary packaging

Your part in our UnitingCare Community team
As a Disability Support Worker, you will be balancing your commitment to actively work in partnership with individuals and their families while helping the people we support, in their own homes or within group care.
The work is varied, interesting and fulfilling. This may include, helping someone to get-up, have a shower and breakfast and then head out to an appointment; or assisting someone to catch-up with friends for coffee, or engaging in favourite hobby, sport or a day out.
What makes a difference for us?
- Able to work effectively with others in a team-oriented environment and provide excellent support to clients and co-workers
- Being flexible (able to work varied hours and days) and reliable to meet the needs of the people we support
- Able to effectively communicate in spoken and written English
- Experience working in the Disability, Aged and Community sector is ideal but not essential - as long as you have positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- Open Drivers License; and
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificate (required before you start)
