- Position:

Shift:

- Days: Monday to Friday
- Weekend & Bank Holiday
- Hours: 9 AM to 5.30 PM

Pay Rates:

- Monday to Friday: £18.01 per hour
- Saturday and Sunday: £18.73 per hour
- Bank Holiday: £36.02 per hour
- Key Responsibilities:
As a
**Project officer**

, you are responsible for**Strategic Insight**

: Provide intelligence and improvement insights to shape service delivery and commissioning and inform learning, development, and organizational design.**Organizational Change Management**

: Advise and support senior managers in effective talent management and succession planning and implement and manage organizational changes.**Information Management**

: Deliver accurate, timely, and relevant information for both strategic and operational purposes.**Benchmarking Analysis**

: Interpret and analyse benchmarking information at national, regional, and sub-regional levels.**Operational Integration**

: Act as a link to operational teams, informing future service planning and business delivery.**Continuous Improvement**

: Collaborate with managers and senior stakeholders to design and deliver continuous improvement activities and upskill staff to meet service objectives and adapt to the change agenda.**Evidence-Based Decision Making**

: Support continuous improvement, fostering a culture of evidence-based decision-making and collect and analyse information on the impact of service changes.**Policy and Strategy Support**

: Support the development of policies and strategies through analysis and intelligence.
- Qualifications:
The
**Project officer**

should possess the following qualifications:

- Graduate CIPD or equivalent

**Experience**:

- Experience of working in an environment delivering services to children and young people
- Experience in using business intelligence software.

Knowledge & Skills:

- Knowledge of council organisational policies, People Strategy and Children's Services workforce risks and issues.
- Ability to research, analyse and produce reports with options/outcomes with problem-solving capability.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships with key stakeholders,
- Ability to plan and organise a range of activities and priorities within a focused area of service, whilst remaining flexible to changing demands,
- Proficient in analysing workforce data, identifying trends, and recommending effective solutions. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and persuasively,
- The ability to explain technical ideas and processes clearly, and good team working, collaboration and partnership working skills,
- The ability to manage a varied workload, deliver to deadlines, and to operate within a complex service area,
- Technically competent in Microsoft Office suite.

**The postholder must be able to travel across the Borough.**
