**Job Title**:Monitoring Station Shift Supervisor

**Reporting to**: Monitoring Station Manager

**Hours**: 4 days on, 4 days off (12 hour shifts - covering both day and night shifts)

**Location**:Glasgow

**A valid SIA Licence is essential for this role.**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Provide leadership and supervision of the day-to-day activities of the Monitoring Station Officers
- Adhere to and enforce monitoring station policies and procedures
- Adhere to and promote workplace safety and security
- Support the training and development of the Monitoring Station Operators
- Be knowledgeable of Monitoring Station Operator duties; alarm processing, verification, and flexibility to provide hands on assistance when needed
- Encourage and promote professionalism, open communication, positive working environment, and the ability to exercise good judgement
- Complete administrative duties to include, but not limited to: shift reporting and logs
- Provide resolutions to Customer, Dealer, Tech and Operator questions, concerns, inquiries, and complaints
- Provide shift coverage for holidays, appointments etc
- Provide support to security operations scheduling guards / accepting check calls etc. as and when required
- Complete monthly 1-2-1 with team members
- Additional job duties assigned by the Monitoring Station Manager.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Ability to incorporate a team-based approach
- Ability to effectively communicate with Customers, Dealers, Supervisors and Peers
- Ability to work well with others
- Must demonstrate professional and courteous telephone etiquette
- Demonstrates effective written and oral communication skills
- Ability to maintain a positive approach under pressure
- Ability to exercise good judgment
- Dependability and punctuality.
