- 37.5The Head of Content will define and execute the strategy for the creation, development, and management of content and campaigns across all TUI products and brands as well as First Choice, Crystal Ski and Marella Cruises for the UK&I. The Content team plays a key role in continuing to drive future business growth by showcasing the range and quality of our products to drive positive shifts in brand metrics, commercial performance, and customer satisfaction. Working across all channels, the full end to end customer journey covers the delivery of factual, engaging and inspiring content in a personal, relevant way.
- The UK&I is a leading, mature market for TUI and as such you will act as a critical stakeholder and influencer in our global transformation. You will interact across global teams to represent the UK&I, ensuring our requirements are met whilst also sharing your experience and ideas to foster collaborative relationships and optimise processes. This may require you to take the lead in transformation projects from time to time.
- You will be an exceptional people manager, flexing your style towards creative minds as well as strategic business partners, setting the example as a highly respected leader. You will lead, manage and develop an enthusiastic, experienced content team ensuring capability and skill sets are constantly improving to meet the evolving needs of the business and consumers. Whilst the team size may flex according to the business needs, it is a large team, currently over 90 FTE with an annual budget of circa. £5.5M.
**ABOUT THE JOB**
- To inspire, lead and manage our large content team and develop the capability of the function to deliver best in class communications across all channels
- Develop and deliver an effective content strategy, aligned to our brand strategies, which will put TUI UK & Ireland at the forefront of content development and provide a platform for the transformation of content across media and into a more personalised world
- Responsible for design, photography and video production across all formats, working closely with Brand team to ensure consistency to brand guidelines
- Responsible for managing the factual content for all products and hotels and continuously monitoring and reviewing accuracy of our content through the team for all channels, working together with the global team to drive efficiencies over time
- Set integrated content standards for the business in-line with best practice and industry standards to maximise engagement in most relevant way for each channel (full funnel activity across web, app, retail and marketing channels)
- Drive an effectiveness agenda using data and evidence to assess creative impact and optimise activity for greatest ROI
- Develop and improve the mid-funnel content strategy activation to translate our leadership in brand awareness into stronger brand preference and purchase intent
- Embrace change and be at the forefront of adopting new technologies to further enhance our content as well as speed up delivery of content to maximise our output including championing the appropriate use of AI
- Represent TUI UK & I within the Group and across the business to influence our transformation and multi-brand strategy, ensuring our business and consumer needs are met

- Proven experience in leading and developing large content teams, able to inspire and motivate team in highly challenging and fast moving environment
- Progressive, forward thinker who identifies industry/consumer/technology trends and acts to ensure competitive advantage
- Proven capability to set the strategic direction and deliver, gaining senior stakeholder buy in
- Strong commercial acumen & awareness, using data and clear objectives to drive activity
- Proven capability to successfully build relationships, engage and challenge across the business at all levels
- Technical ability in understanding and refining complex Content Management Systems and integration requirements across the wider business.
- Excellent networker with powerful communication, presentation and influencing skills
- Highly organised and resilient with a flexible approach to working within a fast changing, fast moving environment (TRIAGE)
