**HR Consultant** to join the team. We are small enough to care and with big ambitions to be the go-to outsourced HR provider for small businesses in the West Midlands and Warwickshire.

**What you’ll do**
The role’s main purpose is to deliver a professional, commercially focused HR advisory support service to a growing number of SME and corporate clients. Your role will be to listen, understand the client’s business and respond in a structured manner. We pride ourselves on offering our clients a personal, tailored service and aim for them to speak to the same person every time they contact us, allowing you to build a long-standing relationship.

You will be responsible for the account management of assigned clients who are predominately in the Engineering, manufacturing and aviation industry and oversee the delivery of all solutions for those clients.

There is also an expectation that the consultant will proactively see to bring in new business and support our planned growth.

Providing both strategic and operational HR support and advice (onsite and remotely), you will:

- Take the lead and support employee relations issues such as dismissals, settlement agreement conversations and negotiations, TUPE consultations, redundancy processes, and independent investigations.
- You will also manage disciplinary, grievance, and appeal meetings.
- Working alongside business owners to develop their people strategy and devise solutions.
- Understand clients' training needs and develop (HR/employment law) training workshops.
- Account management of clients on your portfolio and taking care of their needs through regular contact, quarterly usage reports and sharing information on our full services.
- Liaising with external stakeholders, such as employment solicitors, to provide the most appropriate, proactive solutions for our clients where we cannot do so ourselves.
- Provide all-around expert HR and employment law advice, reward, management and retention of employees (on behalf of clients).
- Driving sales through effective account management and proactive engagement with external contacts through social media

**What you'll need to succeed**
Having an open mind to provide the best solution for each business, you will be supportive, passionate, and have a strong commercial / business acumen to speak to clients at all levels.

You will be an independent, enthusiastic HR generalist with significant previous experience. You will have a commercial approach to all aspects of HR, a level head, and unrivalled communication skills.

This can be a fast-paced role, so managing a diverse client base, prioritising your work, and meeting tight deadlines is essential.

You should be CIPD qualified to, ideally, Level 7 and be able to demonstrate an understanding of the key issues facing small businesses.

As onsite support is required, you must hold a current UK driving license and can work flexibly.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Happy to travel to client sites around Warwickshire / West Midlands and Leicester
