The IT Business Support Partner will fundamentally be responsible for managing their team and ensuring the successful planning, co-ordination and end-to-end delivery of all business support and business support projects, whilst ensuring a ’best practice’approach to system and process adoption is maintained when improving business efficiencies and KPIs.

You will be managing a regional team consisting of Business Support Officers, while maintaining the effective functionality of a central support team and Director-level stakeholder relationships. You will need excellent stakeholder, communication, customerservice, support skills, and be able to set the standard when supporting the operational teams through change.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Responsible for overseeing daily operational support driving business growth, system, and process adoption.
- Define strategic plans to ensure successful delivery of BAU support and engagement.
- Review, develop and constantly refine business processes and plan their delivery/deployment.
- Conduct research on software and hardware products to justify recommendations and to support operational impacts.
- Provide confident and inspiring leadership to the Business Support Team.
- Managing the performance and improvement of employees and personal development plans where necessary.
- Review and analyse the effectiveness and efficiency of existing process and systems to develop strategy for improvement or further leverage.
- Maintaining contact with internal and external stakeholders, managing expectations, and establishing good working relationships to ensure engagement and buy-in.
- Have an in-depth understanding of the nature of the business to be able to adapt, support solutions as needed and to meet the requirements of the business.
- Ensure that the financial elements of the business are appropriate and maintained throughout all periods of change.
- Co-ordinate business training requests to ensure employees can operate systems effectively.
- Manage the Business Support department budget including staffing and additional costs.
- Monitor and analyse the performance of your team, introduce training and mentoring where required and encourage continual improvements to drive further business efficiencies
- Perform cost-benefit and return on investment analysis for proposed process or systems to aid management in decision-making.
- Person Specification
- 5 or more years of working in a Social Care environment in a similar or comparable role.
- Dynamic, confident and natural communicator with an inspiring quality.
- Confident leader.
- Poses excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to positively influence stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of a project outcomes.
- Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
- Logical, focused, and methodical.
- Solid understanding of customer service principles and practices.
- Experience of managing a remote team.
- Experience of working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Very strong organisational and time management skills, able to demonstrate the ability to work to deadlines while working in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Ability to produce high quality process/training documentation.
- Ability to use your own initiative with little supervision.
- Understanding of Project Management methodologies is desirable.
