Working closely with the Retail Director, your role is to be responsible for all compliance functions within the Trussell Retail entity to facilitate the smooth running of the retail operation and support the Retail Director to achieve the objectives set. This role is a collaborative role and will involve keeping a close view on all existing systems, processes, controls, and ensure that TRL adhere to legal standards and in-house policies and maintain the highest standards of compliance within the organisation.

**Responsibilities**
- Payroll
- Support RD with HR in times of absence or cover
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Develop, implement, and monitor compliance policies and procedures.
- Monitor regulatory changes and update internal processes accordingly.
- Collaborate with different departments to address non-compliance issues.
- Investigate any compliance breaches and recommend corrective actions and training where required.
- Manage aspects of GDPR within the Retail function, ensuring all team members have completed all mandatory training and regular reviews are completed to maintain our compliance within set laws.
- Manage the Gift Aid function in collaboration with the Finance Manager, conducting regular audits to ensure all processes are followed in line with HMRC set rules.
- Manage compliance across the retail enterprise, ensuring all information is correct within each data base. Report any concerns to the RD.
- Manage all areas of IT in collaboration with external IT support provider, ensuring asset registers are up to date and information compliance is maintained throughout.
- Support the team with basic IT issues and direct to external IT provider if required.
- Working closely with the Retail Director, provide EA support, to include diary management, project tracking of the senior team, risk register updates and other request where required.
- Participate in regular 1:1s and reviews with the Retail Director, contributing to the identification of your objectives and targets, and monitoring progress towards them.
- Actively contribute to a culture of innovation, resourcefulness, and best practice to make the best use of time and skills in the RE team.
- Promote collaborative and flexible working across the retail team and the wider Trust.

**Experience in**:

- Compliance Management.
- Change management
- Ability to conduct internal audits confidently and effectively.
- Management or leadership experience consistency (circa) 3 years.
- Multi role commitments.
