We have several opportunities for enthusiastic and committed Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (Trainee PWPs) to join our expanding Talking Therapies service operating across Nottingham. Getting to know Us Vita Health Group and Everyturn NHS Talking Therapies are delighted to bring together over 40 years of mental health experience, to support individuals and communities across Nottinghamshire. We are looking for pioneering, skilled clinicians to join us on this exciting journey and play a central role in shaping the delivery of NHS Talking Therapies across the region. The Role In this role, you will provide Low Intensity CBT-based interventions whilst undertaking the (Post) Graduate Certificate in Low Intensity Psychological Interventions (PGCert LIPI) delivered by the University of Birmingham commencing 30th September 2024.

This training post will equip you with the skills and knowledge to provide evidence-based treatment to clients with a range of common mental health problems such as anxiety and depression. You will be joining a motivated team of mental health professionals and experienced supervisors who will support you to complete both your academic study and your clinical delivery. The programme of learning is delivered jointly between Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust (BSMHFT) and the University of Birmingham. If successful the post holder will be required to attend a minimum of 1 day teaching, undertake 1 day of self-directed study and provide 3 days of clinical practice per week.

**Shortlisted applicants must be available to**: attend for academic screening at the University of Birmingham on either 23rd or 24th July 2024 attend interviews with Vita Health Group between 9th-23rd August, to be held remotely via Microsoft Teams. Applicants must be available to commence the role on 30th September 2024 for service induction with a start date of 7th October at the University of Birmingham. All essential equipment will be provided. A Disclosure and Barring check (DBS, formerly CRB) will be required by the service for appointment to post.

Applicants who have completed an NHS-funded psychological professions training programme within the last two years are not eligible to apply. Only those with the right to work in the UK without restriction and eligible for Home Fee status can be recruited.
