**The Organisation**

The Royal Parks is a charity that manages over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats, and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London, including Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and St. James’s Park. We provide free access to London’s beautiful, natural, and historic green spaces, which help improve everyone’s quality of life and well-being.

We also manage other important public spaces including Brompton Cemetery and Victoria Tower Gardens and our locations are among the most visited attractions in the UK with 77 million visits every year.

We are now looking for a Head of Strategy and Portfolio Office to join us on full-time, permanent basis.

**The Benefits**
- Salary of £65,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience

The Head of Strategy and Portfolio Office will lead, champion and be responsible for the delivery of the portfolio of change and its planning. They will also be accountable for the day-to-day services and maturing this capability and its services for the whole charity.

**Key Areas of Focus**:

- Strategic Oversight: Ensure the change portfolio aligns with the delivery of overall strategic objectives
- Portfolio Delivery: Lead on the portfolio integrated plan, development of portfolio planning capabilities and championing good change management
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the team, fostering an inclusive and high-performance work culture

**About you**
- Extensive experience in leading strategic portfolio management in a complex environment
- Experience in a leadership role, building and developing teams
- Experience of developing and implementing business strategies, strategic business planning and business case development
- Strong project and programme management delivery methodologies and principles
- Comfortable presenting and communicating with various senior stakeholders
