Macildowie are delighted to be partnering with an NHS organisation in Leicestershire who are looking to appoint an interim Purchase to Pay Manager on a 3 month contract.

The role:

- Responsible for the purchase to pay function within financial services, the post-holder will oversee a team to ensure an effective purchase to pay process; deal with any issues around month end and year end; manage relationships with suppliers (ensuringthat timely and efficient payments are made to them); and support the NHS agreement of balances exercises
- The post-holder will take responsibility for leading a team of staff in providing a service which ensures that timely, effective and efficient payments are made to suppliers.
- Lead all matters relating to payment and coding of invoices.
- Ensure, wherever possible, all non-purchase accounts payable processes are made in line with NHS Better Payment Practice Code (BPPC) and Small and Medium term Enterprise (SME) payment targets.
- To deputise for the Transaction Services Manager in relation to Accounts Payable matters as required.

**Benefits**:

- 3 month interim contract
- Hybrid working - 2 days on site in Leicester office
- Paying up to £145.00 per day

Essential Requirements
- Experience managing a team
- Experience of a similar role in the NHS or public sector would be desirable
- Able to work independently towards expected results within defined operating policies, with no direct supervision
