We are looking for someone highly motivated to join the Client Care team in our new multi-discipline veterinary hospital in a full-time role, based on a 40 hour week. You will be part of Team Bridge as we start out on this amazing journey to make Bridge Referrals the best in the area for our patients and our staff.

As the first point of contact for our clients the role of receptionist requires you to have excellent communication and customer service skills, a welcoming friendly manner and a love of pets and people.

You should commit to a rolling rota including weekend and bank holiday shifts. Previous reception experience especially within a veterinary environment is preferred.

**Duties/Responsibilities**
- Manage and deal with appointment bookings in a professional and efficient manner.
- Answer and make calls to veterinary practices, insurance companies and clients.
- Have a high level of attention to detail to make sure paperwork is completed and correct to support the team and wider business.
- Bereavement handling - offer emotional assistance to clients in sensitive situations.
- Show awareness of financial control within the practice and follow up with clients for outstanding payments.
- Keep waiting areas, consulting rooms, and offices, stocked and clean.
- Be courteous & polite when dealing with clients and colleagues.
- Work closely with clinicians, the nursing teams and management to maximise the efficiency of the hospital.

**Skills, Knowledge & Experience**
- A proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
- Adapt well to learning a new system if no previous experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Highly motivated to provide excellent service to clients and the hospital.
- Ability to work at a fast pace under pressure.
- Competent IT skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £21,500.00 per year
